About Us

One of Med America’s fundamental principles is to enable members to utilize service contracts without being bound to a single freight forwarder. Our Association implements policies that address industry gaps, such as offering an independent shippers’ association that is attuned to the needs of its members.

Med America has established leading rates for shipping between Italy, the Mediterranean, and U.S. ports since its inception. Our network, supported by our members, has expanded into Chile, Argentina, Australia and New Zealand, Northern Europe, South Africa, and beyond. Our rapid growth is due to our neutrality, reputation, and influence, now representing a significant volume of TEU shipments.

The association is guided by a Board of Directors, which includes key roles such as the President, Vice President, and Secretary-Treasurer. These positions are filled by experienced officials from U.S. Importers or Wholesalers. Their extensive knowledge and professionalism are crucial in negotiating and securing the most competitive rates and optimal conditions for our shipments, playing a pivotal role in the association’s success and the satisfaction of our members.
